Earlier this year, we had the pleasure in collaborating with our friends at Women In Live Music through a series of engaging workshops and panel talks, to support audio and technical production education to WILM members.

- ⁠All You Need to Know About Production Management :

Led by Alice James - Head of Production for AEG Presents, who took the group through every stage of event production, from the initial brief to staging, rigging, audio, lighting, logistics and everything in between.

We were also joined by Steve Downs and Sam Brown from @only_helix who shared their insights on the remarkable @yungblud tour production, followed by a panel talk joined by Karima Kingsley and Patchwork’s own @cparkerpark – hosted by @connsings.

Hosted at the Shure HQ, the workshop focused on RF fundamentals and Dante networking delivered by @annaleigh21, with equipment support from Allen & Heath + Klang.

- ⁠Monitor Mix Session with Sigri Hovde :

We were lucky enough to be joined by @sigrihovde, monitor engineer for @sigrid and @dadimakesmusic, who shared her approach on mixing monitors for artists and how she incorporates Klang.

In addition to the workshops, last year we helped co-ordinate two of the hugely popular ‘Walk & Talks’, for WILM members to get a behind-the-scenes view and conversation with the production crew for @wolfaliceband & @wetlegband, and we always love to show our support at the annual WILM awards.

It’s been a huge month so far for us here at Patchwork, we are pleased to announce a few new faces, along with the opening of our new warehouse. We celebrated this with an open day and BBQ! It was a great day and thanks again to those that came.

We’re really pleased to welcome @rolyoliver to Patchwork. Roly joins us with a wealth of experience and as Head of client relations.

Additionally, we are launching a new De-prep team, headed by Dan Chester who joins as De-prep manager. He is joined by Lottie Miller, our new Warehouse assistant. They’ve already settled in smoothly and are getting stuck into our various projects.

We are really looking forward to what’s ahead, bring on summer! 🧡

We’ve been delighted to announce the launch of our Artist Production Support Scheme, in collaboration with @shure and @allenandheath, aimed towards supporting artists in their next steps in touring production. The complimentary kit included access to Shure PSM1000 in-ears, and Allen & Heath SQ5 + GX4816 Mixrack, with Patchwork support throughout. We can’t wait to see the successes of the amazing bands we add to this scheme and are really excited for the future of the programme!

Patchwork’s own Sam Chatterton (@_samchat) has been handling the scheme, which debuted with @keoband_ headline tour across UK/EU, with Sam joining on the UK leg of the tour.

We’ve been delighted to announce the launch of our Artist Production Support Scheme, in collaboration with @shure and @allenandheath, aimed towards supporting artists in their next steps in touring production. The complimentary kit included access to Shure PSM1000 in-ears, and Allen & Heath SQ5 + GX4816 Mixrack, with Patchwork support throughout. We can’t wait to see the successes of the amazing bands we add to this scheme and are really excited for the future of the programme!

Patchwork’s own Sam Chatterton (@_samchat) has been handling the scheme, which debuted with @keoband_ headline tour across UK/EU, with Sam joining on the UK leg of the tour.

We’re incredibly proud to have entered our partnership and completed a major audio and infrastructure upgrade at the iconic Ministry of Sound in London as part of their 35th anniversary rebuild — with one clear goal: to help create the best sounding nightclub in the world.

As part of their birthday celebrations, the club wanted to renovate The Box - the venue’s main room, with new audio, lighting and video.

After exploring several brands, a listening shoot-out in the venue resulted in KV2 Audio shining as the clear winner.

Beyond sound, we upgraded the club’s entire network backbone with enterprise-grade Q-SYS X10 servers from QSC, Netgear AVLine switches, and custom input/output panels in every room — ensuring performance, flexibility, routing, and future-ready control throughout the venue.

From the dancefloor to the DJ booth to the VIP spaces, every detail was designed so that from the music is felt exactly as it was meant to be.
