Today we were surprised to find out we would be acknowledged for our work in the community at the Sierra Leone independence Celebration at Camden Town hall.
Now to our Fambul in the diaspora and as the historian I am today was also a moment in history. Black British history, and Sierra Leonean history.

Literally in our life time the first mayor of African decent in Camden isalso Sierra Leonean. @eddiehanson88 An individual who supports our community, his borough, and so many other organisations with his time, politeness and charisma truly serving his community throughout boroughs .
