My song ‘Live And Let Live’ is trending on Instagram reels! 🤯 This is so surreal to me…

I’ve been scrolling through videos of people working out, swimming with their kids, doing tutorial videos, surfing, giving financial advice, climbing, and just living their life, all with my voice in the background. 😂 Kudos to @alexpearlsworld for letting me know.

For those of you following me because of that — Hi! I make music as Darksoft. It’s pretty DIY, and I record all the parts here in my basement. If you like this song check out my album ‘Relativism’ for more of the same sounding stuff.

Given the song’s theme and message it makes me hopeful, too. Some people are commenting about that directly too. Maybe peace has a chance if folks live and let live. I dunno.

I’m just happy and grateful folks are liking my music and putting it on in the background, that’s so cool and what I had always hoped for! Good internet, good.

I’m playing a show in LA! Can hardly believe this, but the first-ever Darksoft show in Los Angeles is in TWO WEEKS on Friday 6/5 at The Teragram Ballroom.

Darksoft will be a full band supported by friends in the area playing new and old material for a truly special one-off night.

I don’t know when we’ll get out there again, so if you’re in the area and want to see us, now’s your chance.

Some call it the first “collectively-owned music distribution platform.” Sounds intriguing. And subversive.

I read the founding manifesto and it was very long and confusing, but it sounded worth trying and a neat collective test of a new music distribution mechanism.
