I was able to drive this transition clean one time off camera.Every time I was filming it laid on its side on the transition.Was surprised I was able to drive right out of it.Having front dig makes these cars so much fun.Now I need a new radio so I can actually use the rear dig.

Finally got a chance to get some drive time on the JHf trail chassis replica at the property. It was a blast to drive.

This car was designed around the 5.5” 2.2 tires but in these videos I’m testing it out on some cut n shut Trepadors.They did pretty good but they look a little too small for this chassis IMO so I have switched back to 5.5” Mickey Thompson’s for now until I can get some of the LP Krawlers to try.

I ordered some of the 7075 Treal H10 portal axles for the @sonuvabeast edition @hulse_engineering chassis and boy do they look good!
These axles will need to be ran with 100mm @priceyscustomcrawlers shocks with offset rod ends to maintain proper ride height.

Just got the next Gen2 JHF moon buggy all tacked up in the fixture ready to start laying down some root passes.
I like to get as much of the chassis welded in the fixture as possible.I think this helps a bunch with holding everything in place through all the heat cycles.
Feels so good to be back to some full size chassis building after a long stretch of RC chassis work.
