Something’s never see the light of day well heres some light . @_levibrown tricks and @westgatebrandon farming. Sweet coupleof days outside Boston. Some things we filmed for @jenkem at the time, Westgate in his element (pun intended). Just messing around back then, but looking back… lots of fun.

you’re going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don’t even start.”
Or, “Find what you love and let it kill you.”

I’d say the last five years of my life fall somewhere in that zone—engulfed in an old motorcycle shop just down the block from my apartment. Covid led me there. I didn’t know much about vintage British bikes, but damn they looked good lined up outside that shop.

So I bought one. It was delivered from Ohio and dropped off half a block from six street. I’d start wrenching right on the block. Eventually, the old man came over and said “what the hell you doing ..get out of the road?”

So I kept Knocking on six streets door cus like mackie said “squeaky wheel gets the grease!!!”
I spent the next few years learning, getting better, even building a bike there —even though in the beginning, I had no clue what I’d gotten myself into. But Mackie would reassure me that it will be fine you got this.

I’m gonna miss the hell out of being able to fire up old triumphs on an old east village street . But more than anything, I’m just grateful I got to live it. And also make life long friends there @6thstreetspecials

Riding my #rickmanmetisse over the Willyb this was the first day I finished the build 2 years back. It’s funny how far news can travel. I met a guy @gilleee last night who had this footage and he traveled to Cali from Spain for the @glenhelenraceway …never met him before, that’s his blue triumph sled in the second photo . Any way I got my footage back, it’s just like skateboarding. Happy thanks giving

I love this footage because this is pure Max . He was struggling at times but Being able to Skate with friends in these beautiful places made him.
And he couldn’t skate hard because of his back
But he had that thing
…just do it.
Live in the moment
Say some crazy shit
Do some crazy shit
And dig into it, dig for the fire. You sure are missed.
Not A day goes by
…. Happy birthday max @max_van_arnem

And max the king of all wild things was lonely and wanted to be where someone
Loved him best of all.

R.I.p. to rob Larry @khemibellanova ...Seems rob had a higher calling . I say that because When @bradcush and I met rob it was thru are first skateboard site called@whatitdotbe . Rob was relentless aboutwanting to write for it and interview skaters. He was so enthusiastic, how could we say no . Sure rob . If you ever met this guy you had to smile because the guy was smiling twice as much as you . He made you smile . That’s a quality that few people possess. There will be a service for rob this following Saturday , I just spoke to his twin sister , she said we are all more then welcome to come thru . So crazy cus he’s the last dude I would have thought ... @nyskateboarding .

R.I.p. to rob Larry @khemibellanova ...Seems rob had a higher calling .
