Salah was abducted by 12 federal agents on March 30. He is now in detention, facing deportation. We condemn the terror and injustice being levied against Salah. Salah is the backbone of so many good works and mitzvahs in our community. We demand his immediate release and the dropping of all charges against him.

Salah Sarsour, a Palestinian American community leader, husband, father, and president of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee, was taken by ICE after 12 federal vehicles surrounded his neighborhood and arrested him in front of his community. He has now been held in ICE detention in Indiana since March 30th.

Salah has been a lawful permanent resident in the U.S. for over 30 years. His detention is part of a growing pattern of targeting Palestinians, Muslims, and advocates speaking out for justice in Palestine.
