As everyone shares their 2025 “Wrapped” stats, I want to shout out the people who went a step further and picked up a physical copy of my music this year (or anyone’s music, really!). Avec @curtis.thorpe au tympanon et moi aux autres instruments, on a poussé l’ambiance dans le style d’artistes que j’adore, comme Peter Gabriel, Steven Wilson et Brian Eno. L’une des versions les plus riches et texturées de toute la série.

With Curtis Thorpe on hammer dulcimer and me recording a bunch of other instruments, the vibe for this arrangement was heavily inspired by artists I love, like Peter Gabriel, Steven Wilson, and Brian Eno. The track builds to a dramatic outro, making it one of the most layered and textured pieces in these reimagined versions.

Une prise de son spontanée chez moi avec Yannick Anctil. Quelques overdubs de mellotron et de célesta, suivis de plusieurs couches de traitement au mixage, ont recréé l’ambiance d’une vieille table tournante dans une maison abandonnée.

𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨 (𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴) — Une p’tite version de 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨 avec Jean-Michel Leblanc aux guitares, un peu plus intense que l’originale. J’aime bien le p’tit outro qui se transforme en terrain de jeu. Pis oui, la “bass”, c’est juste une guitare avec un octaver! /// A short take on 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨, a bit more energetic than the original, with Jean-Michel Leblanc on guitars. I love the little outro that turns into a textural playground. And yes, the “bass” is just a guitar with an octaver!
