The Sequence logo was created with a custom type inspired by 90s computer era, known as retro-futurstic, distributing the weight of each letter inconsistently to reflect the uniqueness of each project under the label, but somehow sounds coherent as a collective body of work.

The first release titled SQNC001 takes inspiration from a classic deck of cards brought in from Spain, with the evident colonial style, that eventually became a part of Moroccon heritage. This concept is common across all previously colonized countries making it a global reference that many people, not just Moroccans, can relate to. The approach for the design of the artwork was meant to feel like an appreciation and destruction of our past.
