At the heart of WT’s workplace, a feature tree anchors the breakout and town hall space, creating a natural point for connection.

Inspired by Indigenous artwork commissioned through @wtpartnership’s Reconciliation Action Plan and created by Wiradjuri artist Lani Balzan,the piece speaks to growth, sustainability and shared journeys. These ideas are reflected in how the space is used every day.

Designed by @groupgsa to flex, the area moves easily between all-hands moments, informal collaboration and everyday use. A curved screen and movable furniture allow it to adapt without losing its sense of place.

Across the workplace, curves respond to the building’s floorplate, while a refined mix of concrete, timber and layered finishes creates a cohesive, grounded feel. Bamboo plays a central role, integrated through @assemble_studio_au’s modular system and carried throughout the space.

It’s not just a functional zone. It’s where people come together.

Leading international project advisory firm WT, our long-time partner, engaged us to deliver their new workplace. It was a significant decision to move into 1 Bligh St, a premium @dexusplace building.
Completed in just 10 weeks, the project required careful coordination within a live environment and alongside a central atrium, balancing speed with quality at every stage.

A contemporary evolution of their previous office that we delivered a decade ago, the space reflects how WT has grown, supporting flexibility, connection and day-to-day performance. The seamless link between front and back of house creates a workplace that feels open, intuitive and highly functional.

Already, the team is making it their own, using the breakout space, which doubles as a town hall, to host events and bring people together.

This recognition reflects how sustainability is being embedded into the everyday across MPA, through consistent, practical actions that are delivering measurable results.

Across our projects nationally, we’re tracking over 1,000 tonnes of construction waste and achieving >90% diversion from landfill. In our offices, improved systems and education are driving diversion rates above 75%.

The result is simple: better data, clearer accountability, and real progress toward our net-zero pathway.

The recognition was acknowledged at last week’s Champions Lunch at @vicxnorthsydney, hosted with our partners @twogoodco at The Fold, a social enterprise where 50% of profits support women rebuilding their lives after homelessness and domestic violence.
