#TBT 1987-1990©️ (I apologize that most of my pictures of my youth are penitentiary photos, but you have to understand that’s how I spent my weekends visiting my biological) but that’s not what we’re here for today. We’re here to talk about my love for The Greatest #HipHop group of all time #RunDMC and my love for the brand they repped to the fullest #ADIDAS . Although I was heavily discouraged to chase trends & brands by my parents… ADIDAS is where I drew the line 👟 👟. I loved the way they made me feel. Like I belonged to something, and I did!!! I belonged to #TheCulture I loved the respect I got when people saw that leaf. Here’sa secret in 88’ my uncle died of AIDS and left me $500 from his military money. From there my grandmother gave me full freedom for school clothes shopping going into the 9th grade. And I was smart! I went to Champs to buy the shoes, Schott for discount Adidas and Amos Flea Market for custom Adidas with my name on it. And to this day, when I roll into the shoe store to cop a fresh pair of Shelltoes 👟👟 It immediately takes me back to that feeling. IUsedToLoveHER @adidasoriginals @rundmc 💯™️©️ @hurthustleheal 2026
