1) What gear do you use? Which lens is your favorite and why?
I shoot on the Sony A7iii & A7Riii. The lenses I most typically use are the 85mm 1.8 from Sony, 35mm 1.4 & 14-24mm 2.8 both from Sigma. I do the majority of my photography at night so prime lenses are really important, I also take a lot of architectural photos which is where the 14-24 gets used the most.
2) When you go out to shoot, do you take any essential items other than a camera and lens?
The three things I make sure I always have with me are my wrist strap so the cameras are secure, a mini handheld tripod, and a cleaning kit for the camera/lenses.
3) What kind of tools do you use for post-processing?
I edit on a 16” MacBook Pro M1 Max and I use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. I also use Topaz to remove noise from any shots taken at high ISO.
4) What photographers have inspired your work?
For my landscape/fine art style images I don’t have anyone I’ve been inspired by, however, my street photography is probably most inspired by @billydeee and @erenjam.
5) And lastly, what advice would you give others?
I’d say focus on quality over quantity, when it comes to editing sometimes less is more.

Scroll through this series and see how Chris captures the incredible scenery that Iceland has to offer.
Did you know that the naming system in Iceland is also fascinating, with last names derived from the father's first name, meaning surnames don't exist? Instead, Icelanders are the sons and daughters of (traditionally) their fathers.
Everyone is referred to by their first name, reflecting the country's tight-knit community and family connections.

Did you know that Chaltén is a term of the Aonikenk language by which the ancient Tehuelches named this mountain they considered sacred? Its meaning is “Smoky Mountain” because that is the impression it gives when the clouds are columned by the wind at its top.
