Thrilled to be part of @qagoma Fridays starting this Friday and honoured to be collaborating with my good mate Dom from @beatsofnonation on our vinyl listening bar pop-up in the Parkview Room.

We’re channelling the listening bar and DIY audio culture of Japan, and it’s been a blast restoring a full vintage sound system, all circa 1970s gear, topped off with a set of USA-made Altec horn-loaded speakers.

Customised Altec speakers are a staple of Japan’s legendary listening bars, so this system is very much the real deal.

Every Friday night for 9 weeks, some of Brisbane’s finest record selectors will be bringing a different sound to the room. @roosymcroos and I will be back-to-back closing out the series on June 26th, can’t wait wuhoo!
