1 year ago, i went back to china for the first time since the pandemic to visit my family

‘calico’ has always been a song about my childhood — growing up within a chinese immigrant household, the complexities of being torn between two cultures, and the innate sense of love and identity that comes with it

thank you to @ackergray for visually capturing something so beautiful and full of love, it’s without a doubt that it’s because you are so close to my heart
