Support women in the scene. Always.

Today is a reminder that we need to support each other and that we also need everyone’s support.

Over the years, I’ve seen many female DJs and producers taking a bigger place in the scene. Women who inspire me and push me to keep going, to keep fighting for what I want to become and for who I want to be as an artist. I want to stay true to myself as a DJ, specially as a woman.

Just one example: female DJs don’t always get booked because of their music, talent, hard work, or passion. Sometimes it’s simply because there’s a missing spot to fill and a lineup needs a woman on it.

There is still a huge gap, and we need to change that.

So how can we do it?

If you know a female DJ, whether she’s your friend, your partner, or simply someone whose music you like, support her. Show up. Share her work. Be there.

And if you’re a female DJ, support other women in the scene. We’re not here to compete with each other. We’re here because we share the same passion, and together we can make it stronger.

So remember, there is a lot of talent and hard work behind all of these amazing women, support them.
