Introducing my new entryway bench/storage!
This little section used to be our junk shelf… now it’s a fully functional entryway bench/storage area! I’m loving how clean it turned out.

**SHOE CLOSET REVEAL**
Honestly… I didn’t have any motivation to make this vid and took me a bit to get this reveal out, BUT HERE IT IS!!!😅😅😅 My new SHOE CLOSET!!!!! I was over the project half way, but I finished it. Now, I’m over the moon about it!! So organized compared to where it was originally! Sometimes projects are less motivating than others, but don’t let that stop you from moving forward.

Presenting the first piece of furniture I’ve ever made from scratch- a bookcase/ media console! Started off with some scrap wood from an estate sale, and transformed it into something useful. It’s definitely not perfect, but it still turned out pretty great. I made this thing by myself, and I’m super proud… now if you will all excuse me… I’m gonna rest my body for a few weeks😅🤣

Tbh these letters look kinda janky compared to what you see online, but that’s what happens when you have limited time in between your baby’s naps to make these🫠

What I learned while making these letters:
- not hard to make, but can take forever
- Tricky part is mounting it. My letters should have had FLAT backings if I wanted to use command strips. My letters were wonky shaped🫠 Also, too much mod podge on the back might’ve made it too slippery and hard for the command strips to stick
- Letters are hard to make when you have only 30 min windows between feeding and soothing a baby. If I had more time, the letters would’ve probably been nicer and more even.
- I was able to give birth to a whole human which means I had the ability to find a way to make/finish these silly letters🤣
- Sometimes you do your best and that’s good enough!

I’m just proud I got this done and it looks semi decent👏🏽 Heck yeah. I’m a super mom🤣🤣🤣

I’ve been more anxious lately ( IDK why), so taking a moment of respite by picking my Camellias from the garden after the rain. Also, taking the time to enjoy the calming birdsongs (and airplanes 😅) while flower arranging.
