Great recording sent to us by Michael McLoughlin of the news report that took the Tunnel down. The Tunnel had already started to slowly disintegrate, but after this 2007 news report in which they broadcast the exact location, the contents of the Tunnel were unceremoniously picked apart.

Thank you, Micheal McLaughlin, “Weird Mike From The Future”, for holding onto this VHS tape for 20 years, traveling with it from mill to mill, and then sending us this video - great archive work!

Old footage of Andrew and Michael poking around some abandoned buildings that used to surround the mall. These massive structures have since been destroyed, but for years acted as a playground for many Providence artists and explorers.

Secret Mall Apartment has hit @netflix . Here’s Michael Townsend aka @tapeart aka @wrafwraf and I “butt-skating” down college hill in providence in the early 90s , a “sport” a crew of us did nearly every Sunday night for a few years. If you haven’t seen the @jeremyworkman_documentary on his hilarious Providence mall apartment project it’s a great film and a great project.

I think Mike and I rammed straight into the wall of a house right after this photo was taken if I remember correctly and I ended up in Mikes arms
