Our first artist for Saturday is Windowsmami!

From Hamburg’s harbor to Berlin’s underground, Windowsmami usually brings bass-driven, high-energy sets with a deep appreciation of detroit sound to the dancefloor. Growing up around punk and electro — influenced early on by her father, a former punk label boss, she stays true to raw sounds. Today, her sets move fluidly through house, electro, breakbeat and ghetto tech, infused with jungle and drum & bass.

As co-founder of POSSY, one of Hamburg’s first FLINTA* collectives, she has supported and uplifted emerging FLINTA* DJs since 2018 through parties & workshops, helping to create more inclusive and sustainable spaces within the scene.

Having played renowned Hamburg institutions such as Pudel, Übel & Gefährlich and Südpol, Windowsmami continues to expand her presence in Berlin, most recently at Paloma Bar.

For her set at KWIA expect an atmospheric slow paced set with elements of Iranian sounds & tracks to honor her family ties and the ongoing fight for liberation by Iranians & Kurdish people.
