I was guilty of this in the past, proof is being posted here. This snow photo is from 2018. When I spent a few hours outside over a couple of days to make photos. These days rushing out to make photos for the gram, for likes and comments is no longer my cup of tea. I’d rather spend time with my family on weekends than go make photos for no revenues. At 51 years old I definitely have more years behind me than ahead of me. I’ll go out shortly to build a snowman ⛄️ with @calvincolpron and instead of making new snow photos - I’ll just be efficient and repost - recycle ♻️- old snow photos. My favorite monument in Paris, the only one which moved me when I first visited Paris. Burned tonight and is still burning, the Cathedral is 855 years old, many many generations came and went while Notre-Dame stood watch. This is terrible. My wife @stephaniecolpron told as we were finishing an early dinner, "Notre-Dame is burning" what the ... we couldn't turn on the television, we have not turned it on in months. We watched online and on the Internet in disbelief. I cleaned the kitchen, put away the left over, cleaned the pots and pans. All the while thinking and hoping no one was hurt, it can be rebuilt, it can be rebuilt. I had to go and capture this sad moment, I almost stayed home with Calvin and my wife. I really hope the stone structure does not crumble, otherwise I am not sure I would ever see Notre-Dame again in my lifetime as it was yesterday. When people think of Paris, many picture the Eiffel Tower, I imagine Notre-Dame’s flying buttress lit up at night as I am having dinner with my wife at the Flore en l'Ile in winter. This is where I actually proposed to my wife. Anyhoo it is heart breaking to see it burn, to see so many people saddened by this fire. Here is a photo of the mood, I hope I captured this sad moment, people just standing there in a state of disbelief. @brasseriestandparis a great local place where you can eat classic traditional French cuisine with detox beverages that you will love. Sitting next to locals in this American/Italian themed location with a huge terrasse and beautiful decor, Great wine list too, all their food is delicious including Italian pizzas, pastas, grilled meats. The Stand @brasseriestandparis is well worth a visit which will lead you to more visits. You’ll definitely be going back with family and friends. Plus they have an all you can eat Sunday brunch!
