Wow, what a way to start May … makes you wonder what the rest of the month is going to be like!

Just taking a moment to thank everyone who helped make yesterday happen, especially the tutors who supported their students to take part. We will share photos and film of the actual event when we get them, but here are photographs from our first event. It was very moving to witness how much trust and confidence has been built over the months working together, not to mention an amazing piece of music that the students should be proud of, and the sense of community and connection the whole project has nurtured.

Today we will be finishing off the songs we are creating with the students we are working with, and will be sharing these later today as part of the college’s celebration of their Sanctuary status. These pictures are from the first days we came to the college. Not only are we working on creating music, but we also worked with Visual Arts and Creative Media. Two of the students took these brilliant photographs of us in action.
