Great having rugby league legend Shane Webcke on site recently at the Whittens Snowy 2.0 project.
Beyond his achievements on the field, Shane’s story is deeply connected to the importance of looking after your mates, speaking up, and creating safer workplaces across Australia. His strong advocacy around mental health, wellbeing, and safety in high-pressure industries resonates strongly with teams working in construction and infrastructure.
Brenton had the opportunity to photograph Shane meeting with crews and spending time with the team on site — capturing genuine moments that reflect the culture behind projects like Snowy 2.0: hard work, respect, and making sure everyone goes home safe at the end of the day.
