Snakin’ ain’t easy, but it’s necessary. Join the larger-than-life characters who descend on the Florida Everglades in search of slithering glory in Xander Robin’s The Python Hunt, only in theaters starting May 8th from @oscopelabs.

We’re thrilled to present the New York premiere of @xanderrobin’s first documentary feature THE PYTHON HUNT on Friday, August 22nd.

Every year, the Florida government invites the general public to compete in an invasive python removal contest in the Everglades. For ten nights, an eclectic group of hunters confront the dangerous terrain, nocturnal creatures and their own desires.

@laelneale will perform a live set at 7pm and @brothersrockaway will serve food starting at 6:30pm. We can’t wait to show this one outside at the Arverne Cinema! Tickets at rockawayfilmfestival.org 🐍
