Year 28 was wonderful. Lots of trips, time with family, and so many memories made. I look back at my photos and smile 💕

I believe this last year taught me how to stay calm. We’ve had so many ups and downs this past year of life and it has grounded me and made me look at the big picture now more than ever. It feels great knowing that no matter what, life is always going to life and that’s okay because life is beautiful.

And of course, most important of all - year 28 was the year we found out we were going to be parents. So here’s to year 29 and adding to our family 💕

Huge shoutout to @afs.karen for finding baby’s gender out first and ordering the cake for us from @threedogbakery! We wanted to have our first babies involved and this was the most perfect way ☺️

Also, this was at the beginning of December and we told our family and friends around Christmas time. We just keep forgetting to post 😅

The weekend - amazing. Every single second of it! Y’all know how much Urbanite means to me so I don’t even need to go into that, but this one looked very different through my eyes…

I need to be real for a second. Growing a whole human is not for the weak. I have been SO sick, SO tired, and have not felt like myself. The week before Urbanite, when we are in our busiest prep, I was mia for 2 days throwing up. I cried 3 times over the Urbanite weekend because my brain literally felt like it wasn’t working…

Now here’s the BUT. The love, excitement, and support I received this weekend made me remember why I love the Urbanite family the way I do. Because we are truly family. Dance is what initially brings us all together, but the stories, life events, celebrating cultures + so much more is what glues us all together. 🧡

And I can’t make this post without thanking @delayney. He was one of the first people we told about our pregnancy when we were 4 weeks along. He has been nothing short of supportive and caring. Constantly checking in and making sure I’m okay. Knowing that my health is more important than business - and I’m forever grateful to have him in our lives!

Lastly, thank you to everyone who was a part of this Urbanite weekend - it will always hold a special place in my heart 🧡

Quick lil Toronto/Mexico City/Cancun recap for yall. Really needed some time away and spend some quality time with @kayhoff23 . 2 weeks full of just time with family, friends, and each other. Here’s a quick overview of everything we did:

-Toronto (St. Lawrence Market, Centre Island, Maid of The Mist/Niagra Falls, Riley’s Aquarium, Escape Room, Blue Jays Game)
-Mexico City (Food (lots of food lolz), Urbanite Mexico City, National Museum of Anthropology, Castle De Roma, Pyramids Hot Air Balloon Ride/Cave Tour, Tolantongo Hot Springs/Caves Tour)
-Cancun (Nguyen Wedding)
