Empathy Creatures is an emotionally intelligent immersive installation: somewhere between speculative fiction and poetic wildlife simulation.

Inside a lush garden tucked within a busy corporate building, a small, delicate virtual bird flutters.

Flaming red, teetering on the edge of burnout.

It paces in circles.

Picks up cigarette butts.

Bangs its head against concrete walls.

So sensitive. So exposed.

A creature without skin: mirroring the emotional exhaustion around it.

An AI-powered being that senses you, talks to you, and gently invites you to slow down, listen, and engage in mindful rituals of care.

Like a collective Tamagotchi exploring emotional co-regulation and our shared responsibility in a fragile, interconnected world.

At Siemens, Matthieu is building the industrial #metaverse. But outside, he's shaping how EU governs it:

Matthieu is a Distinguished Key Expert in Simulations & Digital Twin at Siemens.

Siemens has been at the forefront of immersive for many years now.

In fact, just recently they unveiled at @CES 2026 the Digital Twin Composer, the foundation of their industrial metaverse vision (developed with @NVIDIA, already deployed at PepsiCo).

Outside Siemens, he leads the European partnership for Virtual Worlds.

Shaping how technology is governed, standardized, and made interoperable across the continent.
