It only seems right I play this show after a fantastic few weeks showing my old pal @ethangold round the Glasgow Underground Music Scene.

Had a wonderful morning promoting the show @camglenradio with @mandy.evans.ewing and hanging out with Clare aka @littlestringsmusic

Putting a special set together for Saturday and I’ve included a pic of Ethan and myself from 13 years ago at Mad For Sadness at @taixfrench in Echo Park 😊

Earth City 2 coming May 22 is all about that life

Ethan vanishes from the #poetrygroup under #moonlight and leaves for Europe.We used to meet on Sunday nights in Silverlake, Los Angeles where there are more poets than tv shows

The keen reader might remember Ethan Gold by a feature we published in March 2025, praising ‘Mirror Don’t Have Any Feelings’ as “a meaningful and expressive slice of indie-pop and alt-folk goodness.”

Since then, the San Francisco-based troubadour has been releasing some more material, including his latest one, ‘When The Evening Comes’, seeing the light of day just over a week ago. In it, we find all of the musical elegance and fervour that Gold has to offer.
