Big full circle moment for me here. I’ve been a fan of @dimmak since the late 2000s which is when I fell in love w/ the underground edm movement in LA. The first party I went to was The Heist at Florentine Gardens to see @djamlives. I really just went to see AM bc it was so hard to catch him in LA. But when I saw AM play I was learning about the underground edm sound in real time. The sound was raw, big, had elements of hip hop and full of energy. The community was warm and loving. The attitude was let’s build together. This stood out to me bc I was an open format dj in Hollywood at the time and that community was kind of the opposite.

I went back a week later or so to see @steveaoki for the first time. He played “Turbulence” and I felt like I was the last person on earth to understand the magnitude of this song. I instantly became a fan of Aoki and Dim Mak. I started going to Banana Split and Dim Mak Tuesdays. Slowly I was gathering enough miles to earn my elite hipster tier in the scene haha.

On Friday, May 29, @madds and I will release “Chasing Bodies” exclusively on @dimmak! 12 years of trying to figure out this production stuff and we got one on this legendary label. 🫶💪
