Making wearable art out of everyday objects has always been a way for Gracieux aka @sedjroxx to bring his ideas to life. After setting his artistry aside for a while to focus on his studies, he realized this was his true passion and Instagram was his creative outlet. “One day, I woke up, set up my camera, and told myself: it’s time to start doing what I truly love. And that’s how the adventure began — I became a content creator.” 🧠🍇🧶🪡✨

With his singular sartorial vision, it didn’t take long for Gracieux to go viral. “I took my all-white duvet, combined it with the white curtain from my living room, made myself an outfit, filmed it, edited it and posted it on Instagram right away. The next day, my video had millions of views and over 1 million likes. I was like — wow. It had only been about a month since I started making content. That’s when I knew I had something to offer the world.”

Despite his standout style, he wasn’t always open to being as visible as he is now. “Growing up, I was the kid people called “weird” — the one who, even when trying his hardest to go unnoticed, always ended up standing out. As I grew older, I decided to embrace that difference and, in a way, see if my art would speak to others the way it speaks to me.”

And clearly it does. Over the last two years, he’s grown his Instagram account to over 500k followers and has worked with brands like Fenty Beauty, OLIPOP, E.L.F. Cosmetics all while continuing to connect with his Instagram community through Instagram Story polls and responding to post comments. Because ultimately, the goal for his content is to resonate with other people, especially other aspiring creators.

“I want people to feel free to create and to embrace what makes them unique… I would tell a future creator: don’t censor yourself, and don’t judge yourself. Do what makes you happy, not what others expect of you. Be yourself. Every human being is different — so trust me, you are special.”

And his best advice for anyone holding themselves back from starting their content creator journey?

“Dreams begin in the dark! Start with what you have and stay consistent. Your uniqueness is your biggest strength! Use it.”
