Phasework is a new music composition and sound design agency. For our first project we teamed up with the radiant team @chewproductions to make a sea shanty for @redbullgaming Wololo 2026: Londinium - the ultimate Age of Empires tournament - at the Royal Albert Hall. And what a project to kick us off.

We got to work with the brilliant London Welsh Male Voice Choir @lwmvc , composing harmonies for the boys to sing and more importantly, got to spend time with a wonderful bunch of lads who are incredibly talented. We recorded bodhrán with queen @bodhraness and accordion with @joshmiddletonmusic and it was a privilege to have such talented musicians bring our vision to life.

A quick visit to the magical set on the Golden Hinde in Southwark, the mouth watering setup @ten87studios , and a few late nights later we arrived at the final piece which screened to great cheers at the @royalalberthall

This was a dream project for us and we will be delving into our process a bit more in the following weeks.

Composition work for Fujifilm Instax

Took inspiration from the music of Joe Hisaishi when approaching this and tried to focus on using open chord voicings on the piano to match the expansiveness of the visuals. Used the playful frolicking of the friends and the bird to guide the strings weaving in and out.

We’re back again for another edition of Redd Ophis Invites: on @aajamusic ! Every month I get such a buzz with the artists that come on the show. This month, it’s long time friend from Ireland ☘️ who’s been killing it with his career in music & sound design, Breen joins the show and new friend yet such a ledge and massive talent, Faux Arab 🔥

@breenbeen is an artist and producer from Ireland, currently based in London. For over a decade he has been bringing his high energy style to dancefloors from Dublin to Berlin to NYC. For this mix Breen shares “𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨. @faux_arab, a Bahraini-born, Birmingham-raised DJ, has brought his passion for electronic music to East London, showcasing a versatile style that adapts to various scenes. Starting with a two-year residency on Subtle Radio, he has since played club nights alongside names like Danny Wabbit, Mani Festo, and locals such as Tasman, Desiree and Kessie. As a rising force in London’s techno community, he is set to carve out his own space in 2025.

Catch both artists tonight on @aajamusic, 9pm (UK), channel 2. First hour is Breen, followed by Faux Arab!

Had loads of fun writing the music for 'Skate Like A Lass' from @julietklottrup last year. Premiering now on @itsnicethat .

One that came together really easy and was so smooth to work on. Continued my love affair with lots of layered strings and synthesis. Trailer here with full film online.
