Sami is a Berlin-based music producer and DJ born in Jish, Palestine with roots in kufr bir'em village. Known for his genre fluid sets rooted in bass heavy sounds, he weaves through grime, 140 dubstep, bass, and rap. Originally cutting his teeth in hip gop across its many forms, Sami’s sound has evolved into a dynamic blend that reflects his knowledge and love for music. Beyond the decks, sami's building a platform for local and international talent through dasam, curating events that give space to emerging artists and new sounds.

Baba Sy (Senegal/Spain) is a vocalist, dj, producer and performer who operates under the name of Pasaporteman. He created this alter ego to present an artistic response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Mediterranean Sea, where thousands of lives are lost each year in attempts to cross to Europe. Using the raw, evocative power of voice and sound, Pasaporteman crafts a sonic landscape that gives voice to the invisible victims of this tragedy.

In his performance, the voice becomes both a metaphor for the silenced and a tool for remembrance. Through a mixture of chanting, wailing, and spoken word, the artist explores the haunting, sorrowful echoes of those who have perished, people whose stories remain largely unheard. These vocalizations are layered with field recordings of the Mediterranean’s waves, the screech of distant ships, and the sounds of the border patrol, creating a soundscape that is both disorienting and immersive.

He created this alter ego to present an artistic response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Mediterranean Sea, where thousands of lives are lost each year in attempts to cross to Europe. Using the raw, evocative power of voice and sound, Pasaporteman crafts a sonic landscape that gives voice to the invisible victims of this tragedy.

In his performance, the voice becomes both a metaphor for the silenced and a tool for remembrance. Through a mixture of chanting, wailing, and spoken word, the artist explores the haunting, sorrowful echoes of those who have perished, people whose stories remain largely unheard. These vocalizations are layered with field recordings of the Mediterranean’s waves, the screech of distant ships, and the sounds of the border patrol, creating a soundscape that is both disorienting and immersive.

The use of sound not only conveys the emotional gravity of the subject matter but also emphasizes the disconnect between the voices of the deceased and the indifference of the international community

Sara Persico is a sound artist, composer and performer from Napoli (IT) whose work centres on voice, analog electronics and field recordings.

She has collaborated with a diverse array of artists, including performing with Evelyn Saylor’s vocal ensemble for Caterina Barbieri’s light-years at Rewire Festival and London’s Southbank Centre, and working with artists like Elvin Brandhi, Ziúr, Tony Elieh, Ludwig Wandinger, Dirar Kalash, and Francesca Grilli.

This project began a few years ago, during a series of residencies where we explored the Mangrove, its complexity, its interdependence, and its quiet strength in holding entire ecosystems together. From these experiences emerged Organic Intelligence (0.I.), an electro-acoustic performance that speculates on futures where natural systems like the mangrove could become the planet’s last form of shield, resisting collapse and restoring balance.

We had the chance to present 0.I. @berlinatonal , inside the vast concrete cathedral of Kraftwerk. Through dialogue between the human and non-human, analog and digital, utilising a mix of acoustic instruments, DJ mixing, field recordings, live coding, and synthesis, we build an evolving soundscape interlaced with vocals in Spanish, Wolof, and Catalan.

The live visuals performed by Nati @akyute_ blend natural and artifical images transforming the space into audio-reactive dreamscape, echoing the post-apocalyptic atmosphere of the hall itself.

This Sunday 31st at 21:40, we will present the latest version of our group performance “Organic Intelligence (O.I)” on the Main Stage along the visual work we created in collaboration with @akyute_
