「…一個挑戰音響邊界的夜晚…」
本場音樂會的靈感源自享譽國際的香港傑出作曲家——鄧慧中博士的作品《疊影》。此曲原為兩個弦樂四重奏組成的八重奏而創作，今次將由羅曼四重奏 (Romer String Quartet) 透過科技輔助，與「數位化」後的自己進行一場虛實交織的現場對話，賦予作品全新生命。
 
除了這部核心作品外，大提琴手葉俊禧 (Eric Yip) 的原創作品《暗影》亦將同場上演。此外，音樂會還挑選了極簡主義大師菲利普．葛拉斯 (Philip Glass) 的經典名作《第五號弦樂四重奏》，帶領觀眾領略那種令人著迷的極簡律動與充滿光澤感的音樂張力。

An evening of pushing sonic boundaries - inspired by the work of an acclaimed Hong Kong’s distinguished composer, Dr. Joyce Wai-chung Tang @joycewctang “Double Exposure” —originally crafted for an octet formed by two string quartets—comes to life in a live performance by Romer String Quartet, with the help of technology, collaborating with a digitalised version of themselves. 
 
Joining this center-piece is cellist of our own, Eric Yip’s @cellistphotographer original composition Shade in Darkness, alongside Philip Glass’s iconic String Quartet No. 5, a masterpiece of hypnotic minimalism and luminous intensity.

今年2025發生左好多事，但係節日既氣氛提醒番我地身邊有好多美好既人和事，一齊創造既珍貴回憶。Romer今年既交換禮物環節實在太精彩啦！我地四個玩得勁癲，同時亦感受到作為一個四重奏既幸福-能夠陪伴著大家一同感受新既經驗，一同成長，更加開心可以同你地分享我地既journey，同大家一起踏上呢一程Sleigh Ride🙂‍↕️🥰🥰🥳
2025 has not been the easiest for many of us and our friends, however, when the festivities are in the air and as the year is coming to an end, we are reminded that we are still surrounded by beautiful humans and constantly making precious memories. In the Pseudo-Secret Santa this year, we had such a blast and we can’t help but to share with you all our craziness and overwhelming joy that we have found amongst just each other as a string quartet.
