Problem Green "Sorry I Don't Matter" STUN-092
Brand new ripping EP from Sydney, Australia based garage punkers, PROBLEM GREEN. Big hooks, big harmonies and angst buried underneath it all, party starters through and through. Undeniably catchy throughout, it’s a polished piece of work from an absolutely killer four-piece, sassy, amped up pop forward garage punk. The back half of this EP is an absolute ass ripper, man. “Basic” is spot on, fuck your bullshit punk. “No Ruby” is the pop forward, can’t-get-it-out of your head banger you never knew you needed. The aforementioned B side is finished off by “Perpetrator” a sharp ass punctuation mark to an already excellent EP.Limited to 25 copies on solid black shells.

Building on the momentum of their earlier releases, ‘Sorry I Don’t Matter’ captures a group confidently expanding their sonic and emotional boundaries while continuing to carve out a distinctive space within Australia’s underground music landscape. Together, Problem Green deliver a sound that balances raw punk trajectory with sharp sonic intuition, resulting in music that feels distinct, unfiltered and utterly contagious.
Featuring five self-released tracks and a bonus cassette exclusive interlude, ‘Sorry I Don’t Matter’ leans into a grittier, more textured sonic palette while retaining the explosive energy that defines the band’s signature sound. Menacing yet teasing vocal performances guide each track with a compelling sense of tension, drawing listeners deeper into the chaotic landscape of the record.
