We cannot wait to share more about THE NEVERLAND THIEVES, the first book in a new Neverland set series we are writing in partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, published by @simonkidsuk this September.

🩵Did you know Peter Pan creator JM Barrie gifted the Peter Pan rights to @greatormondst in 1929? Having the opportunity to do an official Neverland set story and be part of the this legacy is such a gift and knowing that this series will help support seriously ill children makes it extra special 🩵

💛We hope that this series is an exciting adventure for all young readers but we also wanted to take care to include some characters who have a link to GOSH — and as part of our research we did a tour of the hospital to fully understand the work they do and also so we could better picture any scenes set there.

💚THE NEVERLAND THIEVES opens at GOSH and is about Tom, a patient, Felix his best friend , and Daisy, who is the daughter of a doctor. The three meet some magical, mysterious creatures who you wouldn’t expect to find in a hospital, and from there, it is off to Neverland💫We had so much fun coming up with how our characters might find their way to Neverland, and who they might meet there! Expect pirates, mermaids, fairies, a few Lost Boys and Lost Girls, plus some surprises☺️

And of course everyone knows the only way to get to Neverland is to follow the second star to the right, straight on till morning 💫
