These sessions will be searching, reacting, disappearing into texture and noise inside the unpredictable.

Alongside the recordings, we will share two concerts:

Auditivni kontinuum je istraživački umjetnički projekt Freda Fritha (gitara) i Jake Bergera (bubnjevi) koji istražuje suptilnu međuigru između zvukova okoline i slobodne improvizacije. Prirodni i urbani zvučni pejzaži ne funkcioniraju kao pozadina nego kao živi, ravnopravni sugovornik koji u stvarnom vremenu izaziva glazbene reakcije. Kroz profinjeno, gotovo meditativno slušanje, izvođači hvataju suptilne zvučne pomake poput šuštanja vjetra ili pulsa grada te ih pretvaraju u zvučni krajolik koji se organski razvija.

📯🔊📯 Auditory Continuum is a research-driven artistic project by the duo Fred Frith (guitar) and Jaka Berger (drums), exploring the subtle interplay between environmental sound and free improvisation. Natural and urban soundscapes do not function as a backdrop, but as a living, equal interlocutor that triggers musical responses in real time. Through refined, almost meditative listening, the performers capture delicate sonic shifts like rustling wind or the pulse of the city and transform them into an organically evolving soundscape.

A composer, improviser, and multi-instrumentalist, he is a founding member of legendary groups such as Henry Cow, Art Bears, Massacre, and Skeleton Crew, and has collaborated with artists including Robert Wyatt, Brian Eno, John Zorn, Bill Laswell, The Residents, Material, and Naked City.

Widely regarded as one of the great innovators of the electric guitar since the early 1970s, Fred Frith is a central figure in the international experimental music scene.
A composer, improviser, and multi-instrumentalist, he is a founding member of legendary groups such as Henry Cow, Art Bears, Massacre, and Skeleton Crew, and has collaborated with artists including Robert Wyatt, Brian Eno, John Zorn, Bill Laswell, The Residents, Material, and Naked City.

For years, Marco Colonna and Fabrizio Spera have been key figures in the Italian creative music scene, with an intense activity often involving collaborations with international musicians such as Wadada Leo Smith, Alexander Hawkins, Matt Maneri, Evan Parker, Tim Hodgkinson, and John Butcher.
