Hey, soldier 🔥

Wow… hundreds of hours of work culminating in this one amazing moment. The feeling of walking across the stage and getting to show people what I can do was incredible! And that cheer when the lights went down and showed off my glowing engine… I’m still blown away!

Getting the chance to compete in the Crown Championships of Cosplay at @paxaus was such an honour, and I’m so incredibly proud of all the work I did. I learned brand new skills I’ve always wanted to try, like LEDs, moulding and casting, and levelled up skills like leatherwork and prop-making. I didn’t place, but I’m SO thrilled at the standard of work I was able to bring!

Biggest thank yous to all the amazing contestants, the standard was so incredibly high (and very intimidating!) but you all shone and I’m so in awe of each and every one of you. Not only that, but the backstage vibes were immaculate and so supportive! Huge congrats to our winner @giorgiacostumes and runner up @mortisfever who both blew me away with their incredible craftsmanship, skill, and kindness ❤️

Also huge props to the awesome judges @henchandscrap , @anaelic_ and @kaylajeancosplay who had the hardest job of the day for sure, you made pre-judging as easy as it could be and I know you put your whole hearts into judging this comp. What a privilege to have my work seen by your expert eyes!

So much love and thanks to my dear friends who supported me so much throughout the build and on the day of the comp, especially my dance mom @soylentcosplay doing my final checks, @whereisdanielle and @kitracha.cosplay as my cheer squad/paparazzi after pre judging, and my angelic partner @zuuldraws who has put up with all the mess and stress. And ALL my lovely friends who came to cheer me on!

And finally thanks @paxaus for hosting the contest and especially @astrokerrie for making it happen, these comps are so important to the cosplay community and you really knocked it out of the park!
