But as I sat in these “waiting rooms” anticipating the next big break in my life, I’ve realized that the journey of becoming isn’t defined by a single, shining moment. It unfolds slowly—in the breaking and mending, the rearranging of self.

In this final year of my 20s, I want to focus on and honor the small wins, the in-between seasons, the questions that don’t have immediate answers. The process of becoming deserves just as much celebration as the big milestones. And so does the continued pursuit of my dreams—no matter how far away they may feel at times.

Thank you for being here through the years. It brings me so much joy to connect with you over shared hobbies and just life in general. Always wishing you well! <3 :)

When in Korea, studio photoshoots are a must 🙂‍↕️✨ I had a great experience with @octobee_film —the process was quick and seamless, and the results are stunning! If you’re looking for clean, celebrity-grade headshots, this studio is a great option. Would you visit? 👀

Here’s everything you need to know if you’re planning a shoot:

Location:
옥토비스튜디오 OCTOBEE STUDIO
📍 16 B1 518 Sinsa-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea

📷 To schedule a reservation, reach out to the studio via the KakaoTalk link in their IG bio. A deposit is required to secure your reservation (paid via Wise or PayPal). This fee is deducted from your total on shoot day.

📷 Pricing depends on how many concepts you choose (each concept = a different outfit or lighting setup). I chose the 1-concept package (3 photos), which is set at ₩250,000.

📷 If you want your makeup or hair professionally done, OCTOBEE can recommend trusted partner salons—but you’re also free to choose your own.

📷 Gangnam traffic can be tricky, so plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled shoot time. The studio will send the exact address and detailed prep tips beforehand.

📷 The photographer will gently guide you through poses and also leave time at the end for you to try out a few of your own ideas.

📷 Once the shoot wraps, you’ll choose your favorite shots—with the option to add extra photos for a fee. Your final retouched photos will be delivered via email in a locked file within 1-2 weeks. Expedited turnaround is also available for an additional fee.

💡A few tips if you’re going:

🍄 Your ticket gives you access to all of Lotte World, so plan your day to enjoy both the MapleStory attractions and everything else the park offers. To redeem your Klook tickets, look for the pillar labeled “Overseas OTA Exchange, Klook / Kkday”—there was no line! 🙂‍↕️

🍄 Fast pass tickets allow priority access for 3 rides. Once you receive your physical ticket, show it to the staff at each ride and they’ll mark it off until you reach your limit.

🍄 We went on a rainy weekday, so ride wait times were quite short. Weekends get crowded though, so it’s advised to arrive at or before opening to make the most of your day.
