@russwest44 wears a custom GapStudio look by @zacposen. At the Met Gala.

Pulling inspiration from this year’s dress code “Fashion is art,” the color is an homage to the artwork “IKB74” by Yves Klein. A reimagining of Gap’s Icon Jacket in a bold and brilliant Gap blue, cut from calvary twill. Precisely tailored. Finished with gold buttons. Worn open, as a nod to the Met’s theme and the body as form.

“Russell has always approached fashion with a rare level of confidence and individuality,” says Zac. “Collaborating with him felt like a natural extension of that spirit, taking familiar Gap icons and pushing them into a new space through tailoring, color, and attitude.”

@kendalljenner debuts a custom GapStudio look by @zacposen. At the Met Gala.

For this year’s dress code “Fashion is art,” Zac says he was inspired by the famous Winged Victory of Samothrace sculpture, which explores strength, femininity, and freedom through movement. With Kendall as a modern-day version of the artful goddess.

At the heart of the look is a Gap white tee, transformed. Through draping, distortion, and sculptural manipulation. All while maintaining its original spirit of ease.

“It’s our first time working together, and I love that Kendall chose me. Her refinement and my sense of storytelling and romantic femininity really complement each other,” says Zac. “Together we’ve created this look that feels incredibly desirable with a sense of fantasy at the same time.”
