✨A little update from us….. and a lot to look forward to.
The beauty world is shifting, and honestly? We’re here for it.
For years, it was all about volume, length, drama. Lashes that announced themselves before you walked into the room. Nails that needed their own suitcase. And we loved that era, we really did.
But something has changed. The new luxury is barely there.
Clients are increasingly drawn to treatments that enhance their natural features rather than masking them, and lashes are leading the charge. The Korean lash lift has seen an extraordinary surge in popularity , and it makes complete sense. A lifted, defined lash that looks like yours, only better? Also Japanese Feathering technique. That’s the brief right now.
Nails are telling the same story. The barely-there glossy manicure has become the epitome of sophistication in 2026, think quiet luxury, healthy-looking colour, glossy shine, and impeccably tidy cuticles.Milky neutrals. Sheer glazes. Short, clean shapes. The focus is on enhancing the natural nail rather than covering it, and the result is effortlessly elegant every single time.
The majority of our clients are already living this look, and we love treating you for it.
Now, a little news from our world.
Illumineye has had a refresh.
New look. New energy. New things coming that we can’t wait to share with you. We’re in the middle of some exciting changes here at the salon, and the best is absolutely yet to come.
As part of that, we’re looking for a new Salon Manager to join our team and help us take things to the next level. If you know someone who lives and breathes beauty, has real leadership experience, and wants to be part of something special in Poole — we’re taking CV applications now. Send them to missrebeccawalton@gmail.com
More news coming very soon. Watch this space. 🖤

I want to tell you what it actually took to get here.
I didn’t have a safe childhood. I didn’t have parents who could show up for me. I had no foundation, no safety net, no one coming.
So I became my own.
I started working at 13. Built something from nothing. And for years I still made choices that reflected what I believed I was worth — which wasn’t much. It took a long time and a lot of painful work to understand I deserved more.
I know why I crave safety now. And I know why I’ll never stop building it.
A life I created entirely on my own terms.
I’ve learned to fiercely cherish the friends who genuinely show up for me — and to let go, without guilt, of the ones who don’t. That’s not coldness. That’s self respect. When you grow up without people in your corner, you stop accepting it as normal.
Your past is not your sentence.
Struggle is fuel. That’s not a motivational quote, it’s how I’m still here.
If you’re in it right now, I see you. The wrong relationship. The wrong life. The grief that won’t shift. The childhood you’re still quietly carrying. Whatever it is.
It can change. All of it. You are not shackled to where you are.
Keep going. 🖤
What are you building from the hard stuff? 👇
