SCA3 REMIX is our first remix compilation on our SCA series, released to celebrate SoundSupply_Service 4th anniversary. Artists on our roster have been asked to select a track from our label’s catalogue and reinterpret it in their own way.

Wona remixing ccr and ccr remixing Wona, each adding their own character to the other’s tracks; Mount XLR and Kim Doeon giving a new ambient twist to the cinematic soundscape of PO WAH BUILDING by Song youngnam; Scorch layering his voice and lyrics to the instrumental track Dawn req born from the collaboration between cjb95 and Kim Doeon; plus new reinterpretations by cjb95, Stainus, HWI, Leesuho, and WYXX, each leaving their mark, from which the full spectrum of electronic sound manipulations emerge. If the SCA compilation series already showcased the range of SoundSupply_Service artists, this remix edition reveals the thread connecting them all, despite their differences in genre, taste, attitude, and influences.

SCA3 REMIX는 SoundSupply_Service의 SCA 시리즈 첫 번째 리믹스 컴필레이션으로, 레이블 설립 4주년을 기념해 발매되었습니다. 소속 아티스트들이 레이블 카탈로그에 수록된 기존 트랙 중 하나를 선택해 각자의 개성과 스타일로 자유롭게 재해석하는 콘셉트를 바탕으로 제작되었습니다.

Wona는 ccr의 트랙을 리믹스했으며, ccr은 반대로 Wona의 트랙을 리믹스하는 상호 교환 방식을 통해 서로의 음악에 새로운 개성을 불어넣었습니다. Mount XLR과 Kim Doeon은 Song youngnam의 ‘PO WAH BUILDING’이 가진 영화적인 사운드스케이프를 기반으로 앰비언트적인 새로운 변주를 시도했습니다. Scorch는 cjb95와 Kim Doeon의 협업 인스트루멘탈 트랙 ‘Dawn req’에 보컬과 가사를 더해 완성도를 높였습니다.

이 외에도 cjb95, Stainus, HWI, Leesuho, WYXX 등 다양한 아티스트들이 참여해 각자의 독특한 사운드적 특징을 드러냈으며, 이를 통해 전자음악의 조작과 재해석이 지닌 폭넓은 스펙트럼을 확인할 수 있습니다.

SCA 컴필레이션 시리즈가 SoundSupply_Service 소속 아티스트들의 다채로운 음악적 결을 소개해왔다면, 이번 리믹스 에디션은 장르와 취향, 태도와 영향력이 서로 다른 아티스트들 사이에 흐르는 공통의 맥락과 연결성을 더욱 선명하게 보여줍니다.

SSS의 4주년을 맞이해 이틀동안 기념 행사를 진행합니다. 을지로 신도시의 두 개 층과 옥상 공간에서 레이블 소속 아티스트 및 게스트들의 라이브 공연, DJ 세트, 비디오 상영, 그리고 한정 굿즈를 만나보실 수 있습니다.

티켓 구매 시, 레이블 아티스트들이 참여한 신규 리믹스 컴필레이션 CD를 증정합니다.
CD는 사전 예매 티켓 구매자에게 우선 배포됩니다.
현장 티켓 수량은 한정되어 있으니, CD 수령을 위해서는 사전 예매를 권장드립니다.

OUT NOW: Scorched Evrth - DEA, the new single.

Three new tracks bridging the gap between the debut album JA WA and the sophomore album Shadow and Full Stop. Vocals step back in favor of fragmented, intelligible samples, layered into intricate glitchy electronic compositions and downtempo rhythms, reminiscent of early 2000s UK electronica.

데뷔 앨범 「JA WA」와 두 번째 앨범 「그림자와 마침표」을 이어주는 세 곡으로 구성되어 있다. 보컬은 한 발 물러서고, 파편화된 직관적인 보컬 샘플이 정교한 글리치 전자 사운드와 다운템포 리듬에 겹겹이 쌓이며, 2000년대 초반 영국 일렉트로니카를 연상시킨다.
