@mimiyuuuh has come a long way, and her evolution from viral internet sensation to bona fide fashion muse certainly didn’t come without its aches and pains. The “dalagang Pilipina” we’ve come to know and love is all grown up. And for her life to elevate the way it has, so much about her had to change, too. But as she assures us, she’s changed for the better.

After reviewing 59 entries from designers across the globe, the panel for the 2026 Redress Design Awards (@getredressed) selected 16 designers to advance to the next stage. Among the names shortlisted is Filipino designer Gil Justin Salazar (@giljustinsalazar), who stands as the only representative from the Philippines.
