It’s been a pretty exciting year of ups and downs and strikes and wars. I just want to take this moment to be grateful that I get to be in a warm home, fresh fruit and vegetable in the fridge, drinking water and electricity. On top of that, I get to be an actor and with so much support around me. Friends and family who encourage me relentlessly. And sometimes acquaintances who have been kind enough to complement me on my performance. I treasure them all. Next year is going to be a fabulous year for us all. I can feel it in my bones. Common year of dragon 🐉

This time last year with @sherpa.today our work on the Wine Victoria campaign took us to some truly stunning locations, meeting some wonderful craftspeople.

Naturally, our Yarra Valley leg of the journey took us to meet the talented team at @fourpillarsgin — a temple of distillation and appreciation where every detail speaks to the love and care these people have for what they do. Well worth a visit!

Many years ago, still studying photography I got into the studio to grab a picture of this legend, @mr_scotty_mac. I was so unimpressed with my own skills at that time I’m pretty sure it was me who brought him a six-pack for his time 😄

It was worth it. This photo’s always been a favourite, and somehow never made it to the ‘gram. Now the man himself is here on IG and DJing on Twitch, and I guarantee any lovers of feel-good vibes will have a good time tuning in to some new (or old) sets. Check out his profile for more 🙂

Life’s just a big one of these really. A long ol’ road stretching ahead of us. We know roughly which routes will keep us moving forwards. When we reach diversions and roadworks, we can remember the great memories made and lessons learned. We can look out for broken down friends and strangers and help them when they need it, and most importantly, focus on enjoying the journey ❤️
