Proud to have graded the main title for HBO’s Dune: Prophecy. A stunning piece that shows what happens when storytelling and design work in perfect sync.
This one was a treat for several reasons. First, because I got to see how @filmographla crafts a sequence layered with meaning, symbolism, and visual poetry. Second, because it went through a film-out at @fotokem_la, which added an incredible texture to the final piece. And last but not least, because I got to collaborate again with my friend Aaron Becker and his partners Seth Kleinberg and Troy Miller.
Every time I rewatch it, I catch something new, which is a testament to their artistry.

I was heart broken to learn yesterday that the world lost a truly brilliant mind. Dr. Micheal Persinger spent the last half century doing ground breaking scientific research on the brain, consciousness, and all nature of interesting unusual phenomena. He was a true maverick, persevering in his research and teaching despite countless roadblocks.
Brad and I were incredibly lucky to spend some hours interviewing him, entangled with his massive intellect. He’s had a lasting impact on my life and I know he’s inspired countless others. It’s very sad he's gone but I know he won’t soon be forgotten.
If you aren't familiar, I highly recommend looking up his lectures on youtube. “No More Secrets” is a fun one.
