Last week, park advocates from across the country gathered on Capitol Hill to meet with lawmakers and champion a strong future for parks and recreation.

Park and recreation agencies serve more than 227 million people annually, provide critical access to out-of-school time programs for millions of young people, and steward millions of acres of public lands.
