A week ago today, we started getting ready for a spontaneous ambient live show we were set to perform the next day. After just three hours of sleep, we went straight from the studio to the airport. During a quick stopover in Munich, we wrapped up preparing our DJ set before flying to Cluj, where we were picked up and taken straight to the stage. After a quick soundcheck, we had an amazing experience, improvising alongside live illustrations.

Right after the show, we packed up and headed to our DJ set, which took place outdoors in a beautiful square in the heart of Cluj. A super fun, three-hour b2b club set followed. With barely any sleep, we were on an early morning flight back to Berlin.

It was a crazy 24 hours packed with memorable experiences - Huge thanks to everyone who made this special event possible!

10 years ago today, Memum’s debut album „Became a Leaf“ was released on the boutique label @unperceivedrecords

The album came together during a time when I was living in Berlin for the first time, surrounded by the buzz of city life. It became a way for me to slow down and reconnect with nature. Parts of it were also done in Finland during my first visit with @anna.linneus a memory that still feels special to me.

The first round of vinyl boxes sold out in a week, and we had to produce more right away. Thanks to early support from platforms like @ambientmusicalgenre_ and artists like @odesza, the album reached more people than I ever expected. The title track even made it onto a @cafedelmar compilation and is still my most-streamed song.

This year, @acloserlisten listed Became a Leaf among their favorite fall albums - a beautiful surprise 10 years later.

I’m grateful for everything this album has brought into my life and for everyone who played a part in its journey: @henrikjose @hior_chronik @noemibolojan for the remixes; @hanneskretzer @mayanadirmusic @fpeidner @anna.linneus @faira.music @foundlingsoundsand everyone who supported or encouraged me along the way.

10 years ago today, Memum’s debut album „Became a Leaf“ was released on the boutique label @unperceivedrecords

The album came together during a time when I was living in Berlin for the first time, surrounded by the buzz of city life. It became a way for me to slow down and reconnect with nature. Parts of it were also done in Finland during my first visit with @anna.linneus a memory that still feels special to me.

The first round of vinyl boxes sold out in a week, and we had to produce more right away. Thanks to early support from platforms like @ambientmusicalgenre_ and artists like @odesza, the album reached more people than I ever expected. The title track even made it onto a @cafedelmar compilation and is still my most-streamed song.
