We have some sad news…

Zip has cancelled his Australian tour for personal reasons. We send him love and support at this time and respect his decision to remain at home.

The party will still go ahead with Moopie, Sammy Dee and Magda Bytnerowicz. Tim Heaney will now be donning his Perlon hat and replacing Zip on the day. We believe Tim to be the perfect candidate in a situation where we need to replace the irreplaceable.

We understand many ticket holders were excited to see Zip here in Melbourne. We will be offering a 15% partial refund to those who would still like to attend upon request. Those who are no longer wanting to attend can request a full refund. In both these cases -

Please email spincycle.recs@gmail.com to request a partial or full refund by 5pm Thursday 5th December. Refunds will be processed on 6th December 2024 and paid out thereafter.

The party will go on, and the music - which is what this is really all about - will still be magic.

There has been a huge amount of effort put into organising this, so we ask for your patience and understanding, and hope you can still find the dance within you.

We will reduce the final ticket prices online and on the door to reflect our reduced expenses for the operational costs of this event for those still looking to purchase. This will be live from Monday.

Lifeworld & Spincycle, in conjunction with Subsonic Music present: Zip, Sammy Dee, Magda Bytnerowicz & Moopie. Saturday December 07 at The Gasometer Hotel Collingwood.

Spincycle & Lifeworld are fusing to host two of Europe’s champions of longevity - Zip and Sammy Dee, together in Melbourne for the last time to share their trademark time-bending styles.

We’ve the pleasure of hosting house luminary Ewan Jansen for a live set at @angelmusicbar. Ewan has been consistently pumping out quality since the 90’s on his own label @redemberrecords (and plenty others) amassing a timeless catalogue of spacey analogue deepness. Feeling lucky he’s moved to Melbourne.

Ewan sandwich with Lifeworld bread upstairs, with family members @emiliafabris and @bex__e downstairs.

@millusboon and @fabbymate are on for an 8 hour extravaganza next Thursday...
