I'm a Black queer boy from Chicago, with family roots in Mississippi, raised on the sounds of gospel, house, and juke music. A place that imbued me with bold style and the ability to love hard — or check a bitch when necessary. Where going to a live show meant a Tyler Perry musical, and steppin' was part of every party. Chicago has its own "Black Fame," and I'm proud to be from that lineage.
