Chief spell casters are DJ Plead & rRoxymore, who join us for an extended B2B set. Expect their signature rhythmic & textural productions - rooted in experimentation, heavy on the bass & blending elements of techno, house, broken beat, and dub. Notes of eastern scales, Lebanese pop & intricate percussion weave into the mix for an irresistible invocation to the dance.

Also conjuring incantations are two Wizards in Dark Pyjamas (iykyk), and sowing the seeds of another world is Otherworld, a dance collective who combine technical skill and storytelling to bring fantasy to life.

For those who joined us last time at club contact, you may remember this familiar character. Part of the Transitions crew and with 10+ years experience playing in Eora. Featuring a mix of house and tech, his preference for long sets is a showcase of the years work put into an extensive record collection.

Hannah D is a DJ and artist from Meanjin (Brisbane), but has long since been a notable resident of Naarm
(Melbourne) — a city with a dedicated electronic music community that sees her as a go-to for progressive sounds. Through both her near universal musical involvement and delicately-blended mixes, Hannah has created a tangible connection around the globe with new age revivalists of
the 90s and 00s sound.

Naarm/Melbourne-based, and of Fijian Indian heritage, Miki is a DJ who has firmly established herself as a vibrant presence in her local scene in only a few years. With an eclectic sonic palette, Miki swings between glitchy tech, electro, breaks and progressive sounds.

Yakup is an Eora based organiser and dee-jay. Always coming through with a mixed bag and a party attitude, his taste is largely influenced by the oddball sounds of the UK underground. With a love for anything holding a bit of swing, groove & sub, and an appreciation for the anything-goes approach of an after hours set, Yakup will be sure to close out the series with a drench of no-nonsense fun and a whole lot of stylish quirk.

C2 Contact: 07/06/25

Arriving at the station on the C2 line is a collection of artists that most often emerge from behind the towering gumtrees of the doof. Contact presents a line up of artists tied together by a common thread woven through textured tracks that can take you from rainforests to foggy swamplands and to the delicate bubbles of tidal pools.

A regular on Eora dancefloors on both sides of the decks, fuchsia brings all things deep, wubby and whirly. Driven by the love of bouncy trippy sounds, expect a diverse range of genres from bass, dub, techno and beyond.

E-File is an Eora based electro-accoustic musician/composer. Drawing from a wide range of influences, E-File hopes to create a moving dance floor experience.

Two artists each with their own deep passion for trance, techno and the obscure have combined once again to shake ass and serve a concoction of tracks spanning from early 00’s psychedelic to the more recent fractured and fast paced sounds of experimental techno. With a palpable energy that spreads through the dance floor, their tracks offer a high power to weight ratio and an unrelenting groove.

For the first instalment of this years Club Contact, we invite you to join us for the launch of audiovisual project @000cherish

Cherish is a project centered around reflecting the unassuming and unpretentious sounds of Eora and its further surrounds. Joining us for their debut, they have thoughtfully curated their evening with a handful of their favourite artists that embody duality and cheek with their boundaryless selections.

Naarm staples @k2962962962961 ( @_absorb__ @_bleus_ )and @ravensburger.xp reunite for a special b2b revisiting a collaboration last explored at the final @_bleus_ party. Both equipped with a uniquely adaptable sense of dancefloor intuition, they weave bold selections to create a distinctly euphoric narrative that is sure to surprise and delight.

Long time favourite @dgradeknockoff is a dj and organiser with a love for frenetic, beautiful and bossy music. D-grade contextualises ‘serious’ sounds with mischief, quirk and unpredictability. 

@kendalkim is an Eora dj and organiser with an affinity for all sounds, spanning from minimal textures to gritty baselines. He is one of the minds behind ‘blur’, an event spanning all genres, focused on less talking and listening “closer”.

Club Contact returns to bring some heat to 3 winter Saturdays in a row.

This time around, we have the great pleasure of inviting Bump! and @000cherish , two of the fabulous collectives that have hosted, played and organised some of the events that defined our summer just past.

With each weekend exploring a different musical avenue, Club Contact is a small portrait of the vast musical tapestry that makes up our city, focusing our attention on the deep well of local talent Sydney has to offer.

In a familiar environment dressed casual to feel like home, have a house party at the clurb.

All tickets are capped at $25 or purchase a bundle for every event for $60.

Bass Contact returns with its final instalment of the 2024/2025 season, bringing out an international lineup specialising in high pressure, percussive bass music. 

Bass darling of NYC, @ma_sha_music brings low-end swagger, high-octane punch, and a surplus of chest-rattle to the Bass Contact stage. As label boss of Kindergarten Records, she’s responsible for some of the most infectious sounds in bass music at the moment. It’s shaping up to be a heater as she brings her signature underground New York bass energy to our very own shores and of course, the big Prion Audio rig.

Rinse FM’s @mjkset will close out the night. Known for bass-infused techno with infusions of grime and dubstep, his record collaborations with Skee Mask for Obligated Records show a knack for complex, driving dancefloor moments. Forecasts suggest a BYO towel is needed for this set.

And finally, to the locals, rubric aka @softfocus_ needs no introduction. Sydney’s most avid gig-goer, genre-agnostic music appreciator, veteran DJ and papa of the city’s iconic Prion Audio soundsystem, rubric is about as safe a pair of hands you can get. Technical, intricate percussion meets hefty basslines in this long-awaited debut for Contact.
