Join us for a special conversation with the stewards who have managed, built, and guarded these spaces for decades: Peter Platzgummer (Art Management, BMP), Jenna Seiden “Maven” (Temple Guardian Council), and longtime builders Lee Klinger “Tree” and Adam Doti. Join lead artist James Gwertzman and Temple Architect Annie Locke Scherer for the live Burnersphere reveal of the 2026 Temple of the Moon. Inspired by the rare "Queen of the Night" flower and the rhythms of the lunar cycle, James and Annie Locke will share the story behind this year’s sanctuary of remembrance and renewal. Be among the first to step inside the architecture of the 2026 playa.

The 2027 timeline has shifted earlier to give potential Temple artists more time to imagine, design, and bring this work to life — and that window is open now.
