The high desert of the Eastern Sierra’s shaped much of my 20’s and early 30’s. Last November I had the opportunity to return for the filming of “Have You Considered?” with @pattiegonia, Imogen Heap, @wondercamp.co and @bandalooping.

This trip was one for the books and it was an honor to take on the role of Head Rigger/Rigging Design for the project. At some point I’ll share more photos and insights but for now I’ll leave you with this portrait and my given drag name “Leica Grigri.”

Film or digital?

I wouldn’t recommend shooting 200 speed film in a dark arena but it’s what I had loaded at the time. I took the second image using my digital camera which allowed me to bump the ISO to 1600. Different tools balancing light in very different ways.
