The paradox of a floating iron cloud. A cube that expands beyond space-time and seeks its own identities through relocation. The audience becomes a fully active part of the process of engaging with the work, transforming it into a living organism and allowing sound to pass through matter. The movement of those entering the space is read, translated and rendered as vibration. Human presence excites an invisible sound cloud which in turn contaminates the image, distorts it, regenerates it. There is no state of stillness: even absence is a sound, even silence is a form. As in quantum mechanics, the observer cannot help but alter what they observe and what they observe is, ultimately, their own effect on matter.

Eric Oder is an Italian multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin who sculpts sound narratives through live electronics and visual arts, emphasising emotional texture.
