8pm exacto thursday at the owl

criminally special show at the owl in a few weeks with @youbet__ and the cradle. last show before our beloved bird closes its doors for keeps at the end of the year so make sure your lacrimal sacs are working ahead of time cause tears and going be flying. consider this a sort of album release show for world no. 2 since it’ll be out for real the next day. in the meantime, here’s a 20-second karaoke version of the last track on the album to wet your whistle. peace to all 🕊️

“reloaded” is out today. it’s about deluding myself into thinking i could get really good at kung fu after watching the matrix just like i was convinced i could maybe slam dunk a basketball after watching the last dance. what the heck? video is of us recording “atlantic” off the album which is why we look like we’re playing all the wrong notes. sometimes you forget to take more videos of your life and then gotta tell people about “reloaded” but this is all you have. ha! thank you @young_gumby @dig_.nitty @stephenzbecker @maddybaltor @ianmclellandavis and @hunterdavidsohn.

can someone please explain why when i picked up my phone this morning, the morning of the release of the second 0 stars track, world no. 2, off the album, world no. 2, my calculator was inexplicably open, no usual home screen after unlocking and the calculation in progess simply a 0? i took a screenshot because i wanted to tell you about it andknew no one would believe me, plus it’ll be good to have this evidence in court if 0 stars ever gets sued. tapes and temporary tattooes on bandcamp. thank you for reading this insane thing i just wrote.
