I’m particularly thankful for the chance @vivektor took on me in this film, as composing jazz was new for me at the time.

“A New Phase” is a fully improvised performance, recorded on November 17th, 2023 for a live audience as part of the “premiere” episode for ContentMint LLCs “5 Minutes or Less” podcast. “5 Minutes or Less” is a live performance podcast recorded in downtown Manhattan.
Due to recording limitations, PuriKoko was asked to perform an acoustic set. The result is a stripped down, raw version of PuriKoko that serves as a precursor to the full breadth of our project. “A New Phase” is PuriKoko’s debut release and first attempt at an acoustic set of music.
